Mary Cook

Mary Cook, AM, is a therapist at Emotion Management Program, LLC.
Mary received her Master of Arts in clinical social work from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. There, she focused her studies and practice on contextual behavioral therapies and developed a passion for exploring the bridge between third wave therapies and yoga.
Mary also holds a Master of Arts in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago and a B.S. and B.A. in Psychology and Sociocultural Anthropology from Brigham Young University.
Mary is a firm believer in the value of mindfulness to help people develop a more loving, non-judgmental relationship with their thoughts and emotional experiences. Her goal is to provide a healing space to work with individuals in cultivating acceptance and compassion, as well as a commitment to personal values.
